I am a landscape geneticist currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Metapopulation Research Centre at the University of Helsinki.

Broadly, I am interested in understanding how spatial patterns of genetic variation are shaped through the interplay of ecological and evolutionary processes. My research combines population genetic and landscape modeling approaches to address hypotheses about the ecological and landscape drivers of selection and gene flow across fragmented populations of plants and animals. I work on species inhabiting highly fragmented landscapes, with an emphasis on questions that have direct relevance to conservation.
